MINUTES OF MEETING: December 1st 2004

1905– The smoking lamp is extinguished.  Meeting called to order by the Chapter President BMC John Westlund.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/ PREAMBLE/ MOMENT OF SILENCE 

MINUTES: Minutes accepted as presented.

SELECTED CORRESPONDENCE:  Samaritans of Cape cod and the Islands for donation .  The Angel tree program and Breakfast with Santa.

TREASURERS REPORT:  Received report with the final total in the CPOA General Fund remains $4934.50

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

C&BL: Chairman: Vacant - NTR

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Chairman: ETCS Bruce MacIntire  

- Newsletters are on the web site.
- Delivered the last golf plaque fron the last golf outing.

FINANCE: Co-Chairman’s:  ADCM Ken Norton (Ret), MSG Tom Coyle (Ret) - NTR

SPECIAL OLYMPICS:  Chairman:  OSC Marc Therle, DCC Jim Kline.

  - Need to start planning for spring tourney in January.

ADHOC-COMMITTEE REPORTS:

– Cape Cod Chapter T-shirts for sale for $10.00 each.

-    Motion made to provide $100.00 to The Samaritans.  Motion Carried.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER:

-    Members discusses CPO Blanco recent passing

 - Advised membership that DHS Vehicle Decals should be obtained.  The DOT Decals have expired whether or not the date tabs show they are expired.

50/50 – A total of $15.00 was collected.  HMCS (Ret) LaVaca was the winner and returned the winning to the General Fund.  Thank you.
