 1905– The smoking lamp is extinguished.  Meeting called to order by the Chapter President Jeff Perdue 

MEMBERS PRESENT:

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/ PREAMBLE/ MOMENT OF SILENCE 

MINUTES: Minutes accepted as presented.

SELECTED CORRESPONDENCE:  

–  Received pamphlet from Sea West Coast Federal Credit Union

–  Received order form from Michael Tougias for his book “Ten Hours Until Dawn”.  The true story of
 heroism and tragedy aboard the pilot boat “Can Do”.  Further info can be obtained at his web site
 michaeltougias.com.

–  Received request for donations from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide assistance to 
families of Massachusetts military personnel who have been called upon to service in active duty.

–  Received request for donations to help support the Samaritans on Cape Cod and the Islands.

–  Received pamphlet and schedule for the Massachusetts Council of Military Organizations which hold
 regular monthly meetings on the third Saturday at Hanscom AFB.  For more info visit

–  Received Thank You letter from Rhode Island Veterans Affairs for our donation and participation in the
 Rhode Island Veterans Home Coast Guard dedication on 10 August 2005.

–  Receive Booster donations from Bill Curley and Moe Cooper.  Thank You.

–  Received letter from National reminding chapters to send in Gross Receipts info, new approved 
By-Laws,  and information on their upcoming Chapter Officer elections.

TREASURERS REPORT:   Not present.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

C&BL: Chairman:  - National Chapter By-laws have been updated.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Chairman: ETCS Bruce MacIntire

–  NTR

FINANCE: Co-Chairman’s:  ADCM Ken Norton (Ret), MSG Tom Coyle (Ret)

–  Recommend  $50 donation for Samaritans and $100 to Mass. Commonwealth to help military families.

–  Need to pay any monies due to the Weary Travelers for use of the building and services. 

SPECIAL OLYMPICS:  Looking for Chairperson for 2006 event.

ADHOC-COMMITTEE REPORTS:

PLANNING: Chairman – Vacant

FUND RAISING: Chairman - ETCS Bruce MacIntire

GOLF : Chairman - Looking for Chairperson for 2006 spring event.
OLD BUSINESS:  

-   NTR

NEW BUSINESS:

-   With exception of monies due to the Weary Travelers all other Finance committee items were tabled 
until a Treasurer’s report is obtained.

-   Members agreed to hold the next regular meeting at the Air Station Cape Cod Chiefs mess, Bldg. 5214.
    Our plan is to hold regular meetings at various Chief messes in the area.  Any suggestions are welcome. 

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER:

-   Bill Roberts was in the hospital and will be going for further testing on his condition which is unknown.

50/50 – $8 was donated from the members present for the general fund.
